| Our goal is to form a show team of children and adults focused on teamwork, friendship, and the relationship between horse and rider. Our team participates in a variety of shows, both on and off of the property. All riders at any level and age are welcome. The show team also participates in a variety of optional fund raising events and bake sales to raise money for the team. There is no cost to join the show team. |

Competing
Riders compete in a variety of shows including hunter shows, dressage shows, combined training shows, and eventing. Riders on the team maybe choose how many shows they attend. Riders may use their own horse for competitions, or an EHC lesson horse.
Some riders may compete off of the property. EHC typically trailers off of the property a few times a year to give students the experience of showing at other farms. Advanced students may participate in rated and recognized shows.
|
Requirements
Riders are required to have appropriate show attire for competitions. Riders must be in regular weekly lessons at EHC, unless they own or lease a horse and are in the saddle at least once a week. Riders who would like to compete in rated or recognized shows must be in the saddle at least twice a week. |

Show Team Practices
Show Team practices take place twice a month. Practices are geared towards upcoming competitions, including hunter shows, dressage shows, and combined training shows. This gives students an opportunity to try different disciplines in riding, and prepare them for any type of competition. Practices are optional for students already in weekly lessons.
